   Brandon Aldrich is in his fourth year as an assistant coach at Lamar University after spending four seasons at Collin County Community College in Plano.In addition to recruiting and on-the-court coaching, Aldrich will coach the big men and handle the Cardinals' strength and conditioning program.
   
   Aldrich helped produce Lamar's recruiting class for the 2004-05 season that was ranked as high as No. 3 in the nation by Clark Francis of HoopScoop.com.

   During his four-year tenure, Aldrich helped Collin County record North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC) championships in 2000-01 and 2002-03.
   
   In both seasons, CCCC also advanced to the junior college regional semifinals.In 2000-01 he helped lead the Express to a 15-1 conference record and ranked 15th in the nation.
   
   Aldrich helped guide the Express to a 25-7 overall record, including a 14-2 conference mark, and a berth in the 2003 Region V Postseason Tournament.It marked the sixth time in eight seasons the Express played in postseason competition, and the third time during Aldrich's tenure.
   
   While at CCCC, Aldrich helped recruit one All-American, five all-region and 15 all-conference players.
   
   Prior to Collin County, Aldrich was an assistant coach at Rockwall High School.He helped Rockwall reach the District 9-5A playoffs, and taught physics and chemistry.
   
   While completing his masters degree at TCU, Aldrich served as a student assistant under Billy Tubbs.He helped TCU to a 22-11 record and a NIT berth in 1997.
   
   As a basketball player at TCU, Aldrich received the outstanding student-athlete achievement award for academics in 1994 and was voted Southwest Conference Student-Athlete of the Month.
   
   Aldrich received a bachelor of science degree in physical education from TCU in 1995 and a masters in educational administration in 1997.
