   William F. Aldinger III, is president and chief executive officer of Capmark Financial Group Inc.Mr. Aldinger is the retired chairman and chief executive officer of HSBC North America Holdings Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of HSBC Holdings plc (NYSE:HBC), one of the world's largest banking and financial services organizations.Mr. Aldinger retired in April 2005 after nearly 11 years with the company.
   
   HSBC North America is the holding company for all of HSBC's United States and Canadian businesses, including the former Household International.Mr. Aldinger was also an executive director of HSBC Holdings plc.
   
   Mr. Aldinger joined Household in 1994.Prior to Household, Mr. Aldinger was with Wells Fargo Bank, San Francisco (1986-1994), Citibank, New York (1975-1986), and U.S. Trust Company, New York (1969-1975).
   
   Mr. Aldinger serves on the boards of directors of Illinois Tool Works, Inc., AT&T Inc., Cha rles Schwab Corporation and KKR Financial.He also serves on the combined board of directors of Children's Memorial Medical Center/Children's Memorial Hospital and the Children's Memorial Foundation.Furthermore, he serves on the board of trustees of the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and the Baruch College Fund.
   
   Mr. Aldinger is a member of The Chicago Club.He was inducted into Junior Achievement's Chicago Business Hall of Fame in 2002; received Casa Central's Community Builder Award in 2003; was awarded the Baruch School of City College of New York's Distinguished Alumni Award and the United Negro College Fund's Harold H. Hines award in 2004 and received an honorary doctorate from Baruch School of City College of New York in 2005.
   
   During Mr. Aldinger's tenure, Household earned several "employer of choice" awards including: Working Mother's Best Places to Work (1997-2003); Chicago Magazine's list of Top 25 Places to Work (2000), Training's Top 100 Companies (2002-2003) and Computerworld's 100 Best Places to Work in Information Technology (1996-2003).
   
   Mr. Aldinger earned his bachelor's degree from The Baruch School of City College of New York and received his juris doctorate degree from the Brooklyn Law School
