   Rob Alder has a Ph.D. in epidemiology and has graduate level training in financial management and governance in health care. Prior to his current appointment at HPRAC, he was the Epidemiologist for the City of London and Middlesex County, and was on faculty at the University of Western Ontario. In addition to his HPRAC responsibilities, Dr. Alder is a health services planning consultant and has participated in health system reviews in developing jurisdictions such Malaysia, India (the State of Kerala) and the Northwest Territories in Canada. Dr. Alder is an elected member of City Council in London. He is an appointed member of the Thames Valley District Health Council, and is an appointed member of the Board of Health in London, Ontario.
