Reuel Alder developed the US Air Force Software Technology Support Center (STSC). The mission of the STSC is to help government organizations buy and build better software through the application of software process improvement and technology adoption. To accomplish this mission the STSC produces CrossTalk, The Journal of Defense Software Engineering (over 20,000 hard copy subscribers and 75,000 web visitors), The Software Technology Conference (attended by 2500 to 3300 national and international participants), and Consulting services provided to government customer locations across the United States. He assists organizations in the application of the Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model. This is accomplished with assessments, training and cultural change described on the STSC web site at WWW.STSC.hill.af.mil
Mr Alder is a former adjunct professor of Weber State University and a current professor of Phoenix University. He has masters in engineering from the University of Utah.
