   Peter and Stuart Alder, from Burntisland, were chosen for the roller hockey side after attending three selection trials in Wales earlier this year and will pack their skates for the Detroit Games on July 12.

   The siblings will not compete in the same team however as Peter has been selected for the under 18 side, while Stuart will form part of the under 14 squad.
   ...
   Peter, who is currently working as a Leisure Centre Attendant at the Beacon Leisure Centre, received a huge boost prior to the trip after his fellow players voted him their team captain for the tournaments.
   
   He has played for the Scottish roller hockey team for the past five years and has also passed his Level 1 coaching certificate, which will allow him to coach younger players and pass on his growing experience and expertise.
   
   After the summer, Peter is going to Dundee University to study Physiology with Sports Biomedicine, but hopes to continue his roller hockey career with the university team.
