COVINGTON - Pauline Elizabeth Jenkins Alder, age 64, died Tuesday. A native of Bogalusa and a resident of Folsom for 26 years, she was the beloved wife of Rev. Charles Alder; mother of Dawn Cheri Alder, Charles Michael Alder and Brent Dale Alder; mother-in-law of Nancy Furse Alder; grandmother of Matthew Brent Alder and Jacob Lawrence Alder; sister of Fenwick "Babe" Jenkins, Mary Aline Stamatelaky, Shirley Magee, Peggy Hyatt and the late Fred Ronald Jenkins; also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was a member of Shepherd's Care Ministries who organized Shepherd's Care Food Ministry for the elderly and shut-ins in 1999. She was also a Resource Helping Teacher and Reading Specialist in the St. Tammany Parish Public School System, retiring with nearly 20 years of service. -

FOLSOM - Pauline Elisabeth Jenkins Alder, 64, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003. She was a native of Bogalusa and a resident of Folsom for the past 26 years. She was a member of Shepherd's Care Ministries who organized Shepherd's Care Food Ministry for the elderly and shut-in in 1999.
