   Martin Alder Martin has been involved with Renewable Energy since his university days. Following 20 years in the Railway and Water industries, he was a founder of the Renewable Energy Company, the first renewable energy supply company. He is currently Managing Director of Wind Direct Ltd. He has worked in the electricity industry for 17 years and is Vice-Chairman of the Association of Electricity Producers, and Chairman of their Renewable Energy Committee; he represents the AEP on the Eurelectric committee for renewables. In addition, he is a Trustee of the World Renewable Energy Network.

   Martin is operations director of Renewable Trading Limited a subsidiary of Cinergy Global Trading. He was co-founder of the Renewable Energy Company, the first second-tier supplier specialising in Renewable Energy trading. He is also Chairman of the Renewable Energy Committee of the Association of Electricity Producers. Martin is Director of REgen South West and Oxford Swindon and Gloucester Co-operative Society Ltd and a trustee of the World Renewable Energy Network.
