    Malcolm Alder, KPMG director of information, communications and entertainment, said the white paper proposes several alternative methods, which can be adopted in Australia to achieve the right environment for infrastructure investment, rather than provide a definitive solution.

    "Next generation broadband is fundamentally important to Australia's future economy and Australian policy-makers, regulators and the telecommunications industry as a whole, need to quickly agree on a common vision of how best to achieve it," Alder said.
