Not another Canadian, do they even speak English?Born and raised in Toronto, Ryan completed his BA in Environmental Design at OCAD and maintained his sanity by escaping studio for a year to live and work in Australia.When his jet-setting lifestyle as a trainer returns him to the office, Ryan finds himself designing icons, graphics, spreadsheets and anything else we can throw at him.Ryan is an aspiring furniture designer and also considers himself to be quite the industrial design collector, taking great pride in his $160 Rowenta iron and matching toaster.Ryan is also an active spokesman for the IPPS (International Push/Pull Society) where he is currently trying to pass a new policy that would require architects to remove pull handles from doors you can only push to enter, forever eliminating the embarrassment of walking into doors.
