   Eileen Alden, Assistant Vice President, Investments (2002) Eileen Alden is responsible for investment manager evaluation and research, manager monitoring and managing the ongoing design and development of Progress' proprietary manager selection system tools. Prior to joining Progress, Eileen was the Director of Fund Management at Meridian Investment Management where she was responsible for quantitative and qualitative evaluation of hedge funds for a multi-strategy fund-of-funds. Previously, she was a Competitive Analyst for Fidelity Management and Research Company where she analyzed Fidelity Funds relative to the firm's competitors to support senior management's strategy and goals. Before joining Fidelity, Eileen was a Senior Analyst at State Street Bank and Trust Company, where she provided performance attribution and risk analysis for large corporate and public pensions and trusts. She received a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a member of the "100 Women in Hedge Funds" organization. [top]

   Eileen Alden is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and has completed Level I of the CFA program. Before joining Meridian , she worked as a Competitive Analyst at Fidelity Management Research Company in Boston. Some of her responsibilities included analyzing Fund Manager compensation , providing research and analysis of Fidelity Funds versus competitor funds in the market.
   
   Prior to joining Fidelity , Ms. Alden was a Senior Analyst at State Street , where she was responsible for performance and risk analysis for some of the largest public and private pension funds in the U.S.
