Introducing Ada Alden, MNAFEE Chair 2008
"To be president of this organization is an honor and privilege, " says Ada Alden, who will assume the duties of MNAFEE Chair in January. Ada served on the steering committee that wrote the vision, mission and guiding principles of MNAFEE in 2003. ADA AS AN EDUCATOR, SCHOLAR, AND AUTHOR
Ada Alden has been working with parents for nearly 30 years and holds advanced degrees in education and behavior analysis.
Ada founded ECFE programs in Edina, Hopkins, Osseo and Eden Prairie. As the former director of family educational services for the Eden Prairie Schools, she implemented parent education programs meeting the needs of families, birth through high school.
Ada holds a doctorate from the University of Minnesota and is a nationally certified family life educator. She consults with school districts, working with teachers on parent involvement and effective teacher-parent relationships.

Ada has provided training for Head Start staff, childcare providers, parents and staff from both the corporate and medical fields. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota and St. Cloud University and serves on the Ready4K board of directors.
