    LAKE CITY -- A free parenting presentation -- "Parenting With Purpose" -- will be offered by University of Minnesota parent educator Ada Alden from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 23 at Bluff View Elementary School in Lake City.

    The presentation will focus on parenting concepts that can be implemented in classrooms and at home to help parents raise self-reliant children. Free child care will be provided, and handouts and parenting resources will be available.
