   Bruce Alcorn was appointed to the RFNSW Board in June, 2006.He is a consultant specialising in the management and governance of not-for-profit organizations and has led some of Australia's largest community services organizations as well as creating and chairing a number of Boards in this field.
   
   Positions he has held include the Director of Community Welfare for the Northern Territory, Director Policy and Planning for Family and Community Services NSW, CEO of The Spastic Centre of NSW, Executive Director UnitingCare Queensland and Executive Director UnitingCare Ageing NSW.He holds a Master's degree in Social Work.

   Bruce has worked as a consultant in the fields of program development and design and fundraising, and as an academic at the University of Queensland.He has held a number of leadership roles on the Boards of not-for profit organisations including the Australian Cerebral Palsy Association, KU Children,s Services, Queensland Council of Social Service, the Centre for Australian Community Organisations and Management UTS.
   
   Bruce holds qualifications in Dip.Teach.B.A./ B. Soc.Wk (Hons). and M.Soc.Wk.
