In the latter years of her career, Mrs. Alcock was an Assistant Principal of elementary grades, responsible for curriculum planning and implementation, budget development and staff education. She earned an M.A. degree in school administration in the later years of her career and retired in 1986. Mrs. Alcock is an active member of Global Volunteers, having participated in 11 programs.
