   Heather Alcock is the Executive Director of Research & Development at Kaplan K12 Learning Services. There, she manages all research efforts and focuses on urban district partnerships. Previously, Heather worked as a curriculum developer in San Francisco, CA and as a high school teacher near Boston. Heather holds an M.A. in English from Stanford University and a B.A. in English and Education from Bates College.
