14 January This year's Olympic Games in Beijing provides an ideal opportunity for Australians to experience the less-travelled regions of China for an insight into the country's history and culture, according to Alan Alcock, general manager of Wendy Wu Tours.

General manager, Alan Alcock, said that the switch to the latest version of software would provide speedier access to information and greater flexibility within the reservations system.

He said the new software would also improve overall efficiency within the Wendy Wu operation.

Alan Alcock, managing director of Wendy Wu Tours, said while 2005 was good, 2006 was proving outstanding as far as bookings were concerned, with its Grand and Highlights tours already fully booked through to September.

His words were echoed by Intrepid Travel which is also experiencing "great growth" with its expanded product range, and Exotic Destinations which has just launched a 60-page India brochure.
