Nicole Alby

President of the Europa Donna French Forum, Nicole Alby is a Clinical Psychologist, a member of the Board of the French Society of Psycho-Oncology and Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur.

From 1953-1992, she was Clinical Psychologist at the Hôpital des Enfants Malades and of the Department of Haematology, Bone Marrow Transplantation and Oncology at the Hôpital Saint-Louis and from 1982 headed up the unit for clinical psychology of the Department.Since 1993, she has been in charge of patients' support and psycho-oncology for the Ligue Nationale contre le Cancer.

During her career, Nicole has been a member of the State Commission on drugs, Health Ministry Commission on Cancer, INSERM collective research group on BRCA1 and BRCA2 testing and of the European Society of Psycho-Oncology.She has published on psychological aspects of leukaemia and cancer, bone marrow transplantation, ethics and genetic testing.

Josipa Horvatin

After obtaining a degree in English and Italian at the Faculty of Arts in Zagreb, Josipa Horvatin worked in the Import-Export Department of a glass factory for 28 years, a job for which she had to pass several professional exams at the Faculty of Economics.

She is a member of the Europa Donna Croatian Forum which was established in 1993 as a section of the Croation League Against Cancer.
