Dr. Penrose C. Albright is Assistant Secretary for Science and Technology, U.S. Department of Homeland Security and has been involved in the national security arena since 1986. Prior to joining Homeland Security, Dr. Albright served as Assistant Director for the Office of Homeland and National Security in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and Senior Director for Research and Development in the Office of Homeland Security. Previously, Dr. Albright served in the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and in a number of positions for the Institute for Defense Analyses. He has been at the forefront over a broad set of technical issues within national and homeland security, and is a nationally known expert in the science and technology of missile and air defense, serving on several national panels. Dr. Albright's keynote will take place on Wednesday, February 25 at 2:30 p.m.
