   Pat Albright, of Coldwater, is a Branch County livestock producer. He graduated from Coldwater High School and earned an ag tech certification from Michigan State University in 1981.
   
   For the past several years, Albright has operated a farrow-to-finish swine operation with 150 sows as well as a hog roasting business with seven roasters. More recently, he became involved with part ownership in a USDA processing plant.
   
   Albright began his involvement with Farm Bureau upon joining the organization in 1981. Since that time, he has served his county Farm Bureau as a former president and member of the Policy Development, Promotion and Education and Young Farmer committees. His past state-level involvement includes serving on the state Promotion and Education Committee and chairing the state Young Farmer Committee.
   
   Albright has earned several awards including the Michigan Pork All American in 2000 and being named the Branch County Agri-Businessman of the Year in 1997.
   
   His other activities include: Kinderhook 4-H Club leader, Coldwater Rotary president in 1999, Bethel Gilead Community Church member, Kinderhook Planning Commission chair, Lakeland Fire Department member, Michigan Pork Producers Board member, and member of the Branch Area Careers Center Agriscience Advisory Committee.
