   Dr. John Albright is currently serving as a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Iowa . He completed medical school at the Loyola - Stritch School of Medicine at Yale University , where he remained to complete an orthopaedic residency program.In 2001 he received the George D. Rovere Education Award from the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM).He has served on the Editorial Board for the American Journal of Sports Medicine and as a reviewer for Spine and the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.He has served on numerous educational and program committees for the AOSSM.Dr. Albright is also currently serving on the Major League Baseball Medical Advisory Committee .
