In the early '80s though , the event became know as the Illgen Classic according to Dave Albright , operations manager of Thunderhill. Whatever the reason was for throwing the weekend long party , the 40th Illgen Enduro was flawlessly executed , thanks to the efforts of the San Francisco region of the SCCA.
