Albrecht Joins Practice
Dr. Robert J. Albrecht joined the Vascular Center of Pinehurst Surgical on July 5. He will provide the full range of vascular services to patients.
Albrecht was born in New Orleans. He completed his undergraduate studies from the University of New Orleans and his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans.
He attained his general surgical training at East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville. He has completed an esteemed, competitive fellowship in vascular surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospi-tal in Baltimore.
Albrecht is board-certified in General sur-gery and is eligible by the American Board of Surgery for a certificate of added qualifications in vascular surgery.
He brings to this practice a knowledge base and skills developed in a clinically active academic training program of national repute, according to a release. He has been an assistant professor of vascular surgery at the Medical College of Virginia since 2003.
