   Don Albrecht has lived in Bayfield for 30 years and has taught photography most of that time.He specializes in black and white art photos of people using everything from toy cameras to medium format, and alternative processes to straight imagery.He also shoots a digital camera.An assistant professor of art at Northland College in Ashland, he received his MFA degree in Rockport, ME.

   Don Albrecht lives in Bayfield and has taught photography at Northland College since 1980.He spent a portion of his summer driving around Lake Superior connecting to the big lake through photography and an exploration of its shore communities.He has worked as a writer, newspaper editor, photographer, graphic designer, professor, and public relations director.Albrecht earned his undergraduate degree in Humanities from Michigan State University, a Master's in Studio Art from the University of Wisconsin at Superior and his MFA from Rockport College in Maine.
