   Dietmar Albrecht was born in 1962. He studied Applied Mathematics and Information Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he also gained his doctorate in 1989 with a dissertation on "Computational Fluid Dynamics". He then set up the training division for Controlware GmbH, a systems house operating in the field of telecommunications technology, and in parallel with this lectured at the University of Applied Sciences in Fulda. In 1995 he was appointed Managing Director of ExperTeach GmbH, a company created by the hiving off of the Controlware training centre from its parent company. During the course of ExperTeach's further development he also took on responsibility primarily for product and learning strategy, business development, and marketing, and also took over the management of the ExperTeach branch in Switzerland. As Managing Partner with Project Mill GmbH he has been concentrating particularly since 2000 on the integration of skill, learning, and knowledge management as part of customer-specific staff training concepts. He joined the AutoUni project team at Volkswagen Coaching GmbH in January 2002, and is now in charge of the Learning Strategy and Technology Division of Volkswagen AutoUni, the corporate university of Volkswagen Group. http://www.autouni.de
