   Ron Albertson comes to the San Carlos Police Department after having spent 7 years as a police officer and detective with the Menlo Park Police Department.
   
   Justin Council owns his own business and has been a Reserve Police Officer with San Carlos Police for the past two-years.

   Ron Albertson, Juvenile Detective, Menlo Park Police Department Ron Albertson has served youth in the Menlo Park Police Department for four years, both as a former School Resource Officer and as a Detective in the Juvenile Crime Division. In his current role, he investigates cases where adolescents are the victims and/or the offenders. Ron believes children are our future and his passion for youth has led him to establish partnerships involving the police department and numerous youth serving organizations. He has two chocolate Labradors and a wolf mix.

   Albertson, along with San Carlos police Chief Greg Rothaus, implemented a program that uses mediators to bring juvenile offenders face-to-face with their victims to help the youths steer clear of committing crimes in the future.

   Officer Ron Albertson, who played a pivotal role in the program when he worked in Menlo Park, is now working as the school resource officer in San Carlos to help identify children who are eligible for the program.
