   Maryann Albertson, assistant manager at Dollar General, said a few people might come from the jamboree to her store, but not enough to really boost sales. The fair is a much bigger week for the shop, she said.
   
   She added that she had seen some of the damage at the fairgrounds from her brother's yard. There were craters around the fence posts behind the Magee Center, she said, and she worried whether the streets could handle the weight of the monsters.

   A few weeks ago, a group of youngsters went into the Dollar General store and walked down an aisle, knocking everything off of its shelves, said assistant manager Maryann Albertson.
   
   She said groups of children as young as 6 and as old as 17 stand outside the store, often "picking on" the customers.
