Jeanne AlbertsConsultant, NationalJeanne joins us as a consultant to the New Leaders community support group and will be working toward building relationships and links for community members.Jeanne comes to us from Harvard University's Center for Public Leadership, where she was Chief of Staff and Director of Operations.Her experience includes program management, strategic operations (both domestically and internationally), and relationship-building with diverse constituents.She recently completed an independent study on leadership development, change management and organizational behavior at the Kennedy School of Government.She spends he spare time as an advisor and advocate for the Pendulum Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to empowering grassroots organizations and their support of children in AIDS affected regions of sub-Saharan Africa by linking them with individuals and communities able to provide essential resources, advocacy and hope.She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Texas Tech University.Jeanne was most attracted to New Leaders for its dynamic and innovative approach to tackle the most critical issues in today's urban public education systems and the passion of its staff and community members.

Jeanne currently serves as a consultant to not for profits, academic institutions and leadership organizations providing strategic planning and relationship building during times of growth and new initiative development.In September of 2006, Jeanne will join Changing Our World, Inc. as a Senior Director, teaming with the Effective Philanthropy division.Previously, Jeanne served as the Chief of Staff and Director of Operations to Harvard University's Center for Public Leadership, under the direction of David Gergen and Betsy Myers.
