Diane Alberts Secretary, Association
Diane Alberts is a native Northern Californian, raised in Sunnyvale, CA. She graduated from Mountain View Academy and attended De Anza College. She lived in the Sacramento area for 10 years before relocating to the East Bay with her son, Kevin.
A valuable asset to the Northern California Conference, Alberts has been with the NCC Association since 1990. With a background in accounting for an environmental company, she had experience to draw upon when moving into her position with the Association. Her responsibilities as secretary to the Director include handling the Religious and Welfare Exemptions for all of the churches and schools, processing all property tax statements, drafting hold harmless and use agreements, as well as serving as the Recording Secretary for the Gift Acceptance and Trust Administration Committee, Association Council and Association Board of Directors. A notary public since 1991, she notarizes documents for trustors and church members who come to the conference office seeking the services of a notary.
When looking for a new job in early 1990, she only sent out one résumé and it led her directly to the conference. God's purpose for Alberts was for her to be involved in His work. She did so by putting her talents to use here in the conference office. "The best part of coming to work for the NCC was the change to a low-stress Christian environment where I could enjoy what I do and the people who surround me," said Alberts. Her enjoyment is evident every time her infectious laughter is heard. -
