Stephanie Alberts/Weber oversees the day-to-day activities of the Northeastern Nevada Museum, managing a staff of three full-time and eight part-time employees.The museum, which includes the $1 million Wanamaker Wildlife Wing and Western Art Gallery, was recently named the best museum in rural Nevada by the readers of Nevada Magazine.Since moving to Elko two years ago, Alberts/Weber has become active in the community, serving several organizations, including the Elko Convention & Visitors Authority Marketing Committee, Western Folklife Center and the Elko chapter of the American Association of University Women.She has helped plan the Elko Motorcycle Jamboree, Elko Winter Celebration and other local events.
