   "We're seeing many more requests for online access from our small business owners," says Amber Albertini, assistant vice president and direct banking manager for Washington Trust. "They're savvy about technology. They're asking for the same products and services that a big business would ask for." So in addition to the more traditional business offerings you might expect - checking, savings, loans, credit lines, and the like - Washington Trust accommodates online data transfers in and out of financial software like Quicken and they market a series of modules like payroll with direct deposit, as well. "If we do a good job of making their information available to them when they want it, how they want it, and then we have that personal relationship with them to back it up, that creates a lot of customer loyalty," Albertini says.
