   Roberto Albertazzi graduated in 1978 at La Plata University and in 1984 he obtained his degree in ophthalmologic. In 1985, his monography Econometric in the Normal Development and Patologyc of the Eyes was awarded by the Sociedad Argentina de Ultrasonografia and he obtained a master in ophthalmic Ecography. In 1994, he is recognized like an Important Specialist. Actually, he is appointed teacher at Buenos Aires University. He takes part in many Cientific Sociaties, National and International and he is one of the founders and secretary of the Sociedad Argentina de Cirugia Refractiva y Cornea. He discourses in many Symposiums of Refractive Surgery. Actually, he is member of the Comite of Expert Colleages in Refractive Surgery, that belongs to ISRS.
   
   Perception of ISRS in Argentina
   
   Argentina is a large country located in South America. It has an area of 2 780 400 square kilometres and its population is 33 millions people. There are 4000 ophthalmologysts to cover medical necesities and there are not any optometrics. Every year, the Sociedad Argentina de Cirugia Refractiva y Cornea organizes a symposium.
