A senior who planned to graduate in December, Alberta started college in a select group as a Cornell Tradition Fellow.He had volunteered with Loaves and Fishes, Cayuga Nature Center and Habitat for Humanity, in addition to working for the Johnson Museum of Art, the university's art department and Cornell University Dining.
Alberta also left a legacy through his artwork, and so his department hung a memorial exhibition of his drawings and sculptures Wednesday in Willard Straight Hall on campus.
