Mimi Albert
Mimi Albert's two published novels are about women coming of age in interesting times, as is her soon-to-be published new novel, Through Black Seas.
She received an MFA degree in writing fiction from Columbia University, and has been speaking and running writing workshops at colleges, universities, and other sites ever since, including at the University of California at Berkeley, Extension Writing Program, The Bay Area Writers Workshop, The Berkeley Arts Festival Literary Tribute, Goddard College in Vermont, Brooklyn College, Fordham University, and Napa Valley College.
She also has extensive experience in working with developmentally disabled and institutionalized mentally ill populations.
