   Lesley Albert is an associate at Epstein Cole with a focus on family law.
   
   Prior to joining the firm Lesley articled at the law firm of Hicks Morley LLP wherein she practiced in labour law and employment litigation. Lesley has authored and co-authored a number of academic papers. Her most recent papers focused on executive employee compensation benefits, specifically dealing with restricted shares and stock options.
   
   Lesley holds an LL.B from Queen's University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004. While in law school Lesley completed courses in both family law and children's law. She also spent a year as a litigation caseworker with Queen's Legal Aid. Lesley received her Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto.

   Lesley received her LL.B. in 2003 from Queen's University and, after having summered with Hicks Morley, has now returned to the Firm. During her time at Queen's Lesley was a competitor in the Jessup (international law) 2002 mooting competition. This last academic year Lesley coached the Queen's Jessup mooting team and also participated in an advanced constitutional law course wherein she mooted a Charter case before Justice Marshall E. Rothstein of the Federal Court of Appeal. Throughout the academic year of 2002-2003 Lesley was a Caseworker with Queen's Legal Aid and had the experience of representing students and Kingston residents in hearings before various courts and tribunals. Another of Lesley's academic pursuits includes an independent study she wrote focusing on constitutional rights within Ontario's public education system. Lesley also graduated with a B.A. (Hons) from The University of Toronto, and she is a Candidate of the Master's of Journalism program at The University of Western Ontario.
