   Emmitt Albert was born July 3, 1916 in the family's farmhouse. He attended Mt. Pulaski schools and graduated from the University of Illinois. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years in the Southwest Pacific; he attained the grade of Lt. Senior. He farmed the family farm until retiring in 1969. He then was the director of the Lincoln Logan Mutual Insurance Company and was also with the Crop Hail Management, Inc. He is an active member of the United Methodist Church having served as a trustee for several years.

   Debra June, was born in Lincoln, Illinois, March 14, 1951 and is the second child of Emmitt and Muriel.
