Anwar Ahmed, MD, is a clinical associate in the Department of Neurology at The Cleveland Clinic.He received his medical degree from Dow Medical College at the University of Karachi in Pakistan and completed his residency in neurology at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University.He also completed a fellowship in movement disorders at Columbia University in New York.He is a board-certified neurologist and has special interests in movement disorders including tremor and Parkinson's disease.

Dr. Ahmed has recently become a member of the staff of the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Research Center at Barrow Neurological Institute.Before joining Barrow Neurological Institute, he was clinical associate staff in the Department of Neurology at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland Ohio.He will be seeing patients in out patient clinics with various movement disorders including Parkinson's disease.He will be conducting clinical trials, administering Botulinum toxin injections and organizing a special clinic for deep brain stimulation surgery for various movement disorders.Dr. Ahmed received his medical degree from Dow medical college Karachi, Pakistan and completed his residency in neurology at the Detroit Medical Center at Wayne State University.He also completed a fellowship in movement disorders at Columbia University, New York.He is a board-certified neurologist and has special interests in movement disorders including tremor and Parkinson's disease.
