Mr. Agruso came to Van Nuys High School in 2005 as the Auto Shop instructor.He brings 14 years of auto dealership experience and served as the Chairman of the Automotive Youth Educational System (AYES) for several years.In working with high schools in the San Fernando Valley, he helped employ Automotive students into local auto dealerships.He brings 22 years of United States military experience in the technical field including light wheel vehicle mechanics and power generation.Also, he has earned Ford Master Technician and ASE Master Technician Certifications.His goal for the Van Nuys High School Auto Shop is to earn the NATEF Certification and become an AYES school in order to enhance the Auto Shop program with local dealership support for materials and employment opportunities.
