WARREN E. AGIN is a founding member of Swiggart & Agin, LLC, Boston, MA.Mr. Agin's practice focuses in the areas of bankruptcy and insolvency law, corporate law, and computer and Internet law.In the bankruptcy field, Mr. Agin represents both debtors and creditors in a variety of consumer and commercial bankruptcy matters, including technology related bankruptcy matters.Mr. Agin authored Bankruptcy and Secured Lending in Cyberspace (Bowne & Co., Inc.2000), the first treatise to discuss how the Internet is changing bankruptcy law and practice.A contributing editor on intellectual property and technology issues to the Norton Bankruptcy Law and Practice, 2d Ed. (1994-12 Vols.) legal treatise, Mr. Agin currently serves as Chair of the American Bar Association's Business Law Section's Electronic Transactions in Bankruptcy Subcommittee (within the Business Bankruptcy Committee) and Vice-Chair of the ABA's Joint Subcommittee on Electronic Financial Services.He is a member of the ABA's Committee on Cyberspace Law.Mr. Agin was selected by Turnaround & Workouts Newsletter as one of the 12 Outstanding Young Bankruptcy Attorneys of 2000.Before forming his own practice, Mr. Agin was an associate in the transactional and bankruptcy departments of Barron & Stadfeld, P.C. in Boston, Massachusetts.At Barron & Stadfeld, P.C., Mr. Agin represented a variety of creditors, including local banks and the FDIC, in a variety of different insolvency matters.
