FCEK Monday evenings , amid browsing bibliophiles and stacks of bestsellers at the Borders Bookstore in an upscale suburb of Detroit , a handful of knitters make themselves at for a few hours of stitching. Central to this Knitters Gathering is the founder Warren Agee , the bookseller's Community Relations Coordinator , and an avid knitter. Seeing the upsurge of interest in his hobby of choice , Agee felt that this group would be as much a service to the general public as reading clubs and other store-sponsored activities.
