Adley, president of Pelican Gas Management, performs gas pricing and purchasing for the city through the Louisiana Municipal Gas Authority.He said there could be a potential low in the next few days that could help the city attain its target price below $12 per million British thermal units.

  It is ironic that Senator Adley (D) Benton, would go to such great lengths in authoring a bill to help out a convicted felon, when Adley refused to author a simple local bill for Benton families who wanted to be able to vote on whether or not a video poker casino truck stop was going to be allowed to locate near two of Benton's schools and several neighborhoods.Perhaps if the citizens and families of Benton who pleaded for Adley's help had been convicted felons, Senator Adley would have jumped at the chance to write legislation of their behalf.One can only speculate.

  Robert Adley of Bossier Parish has switched from the Democratic to the Republican Party, a month before Louisiana's new Republican governor takes office.
