    Group Health Cooperative has named Peter G. Adler vice president for the Puget Sound Regional Division.Adler, along with his medical director partner, Gary Feldbau, MD, will be responsible for Group Health's 23 family health centers, four specialty centers, two hospitals, and a skilled nursing facility, all located within the five Puget Sound-area counties.

    Adler comes to Group Health with more than 23 years of experience in health care administration.He previously served as Harvard Pilgrim Health Care's senior vice president of network management in Boston.In that position, Adler was responsible for provider relationships and performance across four states, encompassing 22,000 providers and 400 hospitals.

    "Peter has intense customer focus, a track record for working collaboratively with medical staff and others, and an ability to bring diverse groups together," said John Long, executive vice president and chief operations officer.
