    Dr. Michael Abram has been studying Cherokee culture for more than 30 years and is director and curator of the Cherokee Heritage Museum and Gallery in Cherokee. He will provide a glimpse into Cherokee history and lore by presenting several lectures.

    At 11 a.m. Saturday and again at 4:30 p.m. Sunday Abram will present a lecture on "Cherokee Beliefs about Frogs. At 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday Abram will lecture on "Cherokee Gambling through the Ages."

    At 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Abram will present "Cherokee Views of the Night Sky: Stars, Constellations and the Moon."
