Born in Wajir, Kenya, Ms. Abdi has dedicated herself to building peace for the past 17 years, the last four of those years on CPMR-ESA, a project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development and implemented by DAI.Among her many contributions to CPMR-ESA, she was a Learning and Policy Advisor to the Coalition for Peace in Africa (2003-2005), and she advised the Somali Cluster in the project's CPMR Program (2005-2007).
