Dr Aiman Abdel-Malek is the Global Technology Director for General Electric PII Pipeline Solutions Business, a division of General Electric Power Systems. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1987. He has been with the General Electric company since 1988, working in medical imaging, Teleradiology and remote mammography diagnostics systems. In 1998, he joined GE Transportation Systems division to start and manage their Remote Diagnostics Services business and later he assumed the position of the Chief Technology Officer of GE Transportation service business, prior to assuming his current position at GE Power systems.
