   Aleya Abdel-Hadi (b.1943) is Professor Emeritus of Interior Design at the Faculty of Fine-Arts, Cairo , Helwan University . Member of IAPS (51) - The International Association of People Environment Studies , since 1981, her research interest is on Socio-Spatial Organization: Housing. Since 2002, she is Head of the Décor Section and the Committee of Women at the Syndicate of Egyptian Fine-Artists. Served (2001-2003) as Vice-Dean for Post Graduate Studies and Research at Fine-Arts Cairo, Helwan University, (1998-2000) Dean of the College of Architecture and Art at the University of Petra, Amman, Jordan, (1995-1998) Head of Interior Design Department, Univ. of Petra, Amman, Jordan. Ph.D. (1986) & MA (1976) from Fine-Arts Cairo , Helwan Univ. , BA (1965) Fine- Arts, Alexandria (Awarded the Prize of Excellence from President Nasser on Science Day). In addition to her academic and research work, she practiced her profession of Interior Designer and participated in several Art Exhibitions in Egypt , Jordan , Italy , Spain , Paris and Russia. Museums Acquisitions : Fine Arts Cairo, National Jordan Museum of Fine Arts.
