Williams, as Vice President of Corporate Development; Nancy Stuart, as Vice President of Strategic Development; and, Patricia E. Abbott, as Head of Operations.

   Patricia Abbott is a specialist in start-up operations, having contributed to the establishment and success of more than 40 biotechnology companies and academic departments. Most recently, Ms. Abbott was Senior Director of Operations & Human Resources at Phylos Inc. At Phylos, she assumed a leadership role in starting up and building the company's infrastructure, including purchasing, accounting, finance, payroll, human resources, benefits, regulatory affairs, safety, operations, real estate and construction management. Earlier in her career, Ms. Abbott held management positions at Partners HealthCare System, Institute for Clinical Applications, Cambridge NeuroScience, and Massachusetts General Hospital. Ms. Abbott holds a bachelor of science degree in health science from Northeastern University.

   Patricia E. Abbott Senior Director, Human Resources and Operations Ms. Abbott joined Phylos in June 1997, and was responsible for starting up and establishing the operations for the Company. She has played a leading role in building the Company's infrastructure and strong scientific team, and she currently directs all aspects of human resources and operations. Prior to joining Phylos, Ms. Abbott served as a consultant specializing in the start-up operations of over 30 biotechnology companies, primarily in the areas of facility management, purchasing, regulatory affairs, and safety. Earlier in her career, Ms. Abbott held various positions in direct patient healthcare in both industry and academia. She holds a B.S. in Health Science from Northeastern University.
