Marion L. Abbott, Marion L. Abbott, nee Wombacher, of Flossmoor, Ill., formerly of Proctor, passed away Apr. 8, 2003. She was 88.
She was born in Proctor May 27, 1914, to the late Katherine and Henry Wombacher. She graduated from Proctor High School and the Duluth State Teachers College (UMD), and taught elementary education in Cloquet. She was an active member of the Episcopal Church of St. John the Evangelist, Flossmoor Service League, Infant Welfare Society, Easter Seal Society and the Flossmoor Country Club.
