DURHAM - The funeral for Louis Bailey Abbott, 59, of 615 Raynor St., who died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003, in Durham Regional Hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 21, in New Hope Person Baptist Church by the Rev. W. L. Richardson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Cameron; four daughters, Carolyn Burton of Roxboro, Kaye Lois Burton of Durham, Janice Abbott of Bronx, N.Y. and Barbara Cameron of St. Matthews, S.C.; two sons, Tracey Cameron of Durham, and Louis Abbott Jr. of Philadelphia, Pa.; four sisters, Mattie Winstead of Greensboro, Ineather Farmer of Milton, Barbara Johnson of Charlotte, and Truly Cook of Jamestown; three brothers, Richard Abbott of Durham, Leroy Abbott of Sedalia, and Gerald Abbott of Yanceyville; and 14 grandchildren.
