John Abbott, A.S.A., M.A.A.A.Mr. Abbott is a consultant with over twenty-five years of information systems experience, focusing on the deployment of technology to satisfy business challenges in the insurance and financial services industries.He has extensive experience in business requirement identification, software package evaluation/selection, and project management.

Most recently, Mr. Abbott has assisted clients with projects to introduce new financial products and integrate new technology into their operations.He has provided expertise in the areas of technology evaluation and acquisition, market analysis, financial reporting and organizational development.

Mr. Abbott has been Vice President of Technology, Architecture and Planning for Sun America Financial, Vice President of Systems Development for Transamerica Life Companies and Assistant Vice President for First Capital Life Insurance.He graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Mathematics.He is a member of the Associates of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
