   David Abbot, an archaeologist with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, which works as a liaison between local and federal governments on excavations, said the finds would likely be cleaned and stored at a federal depository, possibly the Cobb Institute at Mississippi State University.
   
   Bay St. Louis leaders have openly considered using the historic City Hall building, which the city moved out of in the 1990s, as a museum. Abbot said the Bay could work with federal agencies to have some of the artifacts from the village returned for display in a museum.
